Design realities you’ll feel every trip: because the long midsize DECKED system runs 68", there’s about 4.86" of empty space between the tailgate end of the DECKED system and the tailgate itself. Drawers require 4" to open, but the first 5½" of the drawer are taken up by the handle cavity and drawer taper, which means removing items with the tailgate closed is highly impractical. This is storage you access from the bed, not through the rear opening.
