The first part of the drawer is occupied by the handle cavity and taper, and the system offers a maximum 42" drawer extension. That means you gain secure storage with controlled access, while keeping the tailgate space usable for occasional loading tasks.

• Length and fit: Standard DECKED system length is 75.25", designed for a 6'9" bed on the 2009–2016 Ford Super Duty. There will be about 6.8" of empty space between the tailgate end and the DECKED unit.
• Drawer extension: Drawers do not fully extend; you get up to 42" of usable drawer travel for safe, controlled access to contents.
• Payload capacity: 2000 lb payload distributed across the bed, with 200 lb payload per drawer, making it suitable for heavy tool kits and equipment without compromising bed integrity.
• Bed compatibility: Not compatible with any in-bed towing packages (5th Wheel or Gooseneck). Works with spray-in bed liner, but not with a drop-in plastic liner. BedRug mat can work, but a BedRug full liner is not compatible.
• Tailgate considerations: If your truck has a tailgate assist handle, it may interfere with the DECKED unit depending on year/model. The handle can be removed if needed, and the tailgate step will not impact installation or use.
