Installation notes you should know — the standard DECKED length is 75.25", which leaves about 3.6" of empty space between the DECKED system and the tailgate (blue). Drawers require 4" to open, so you’ll interact with the tailgate less often when it’s closed. The first 5 1/2" of drawer space are consumed by the handle cavity and drawer taper, which naturally limits full-drawer removal unless the tailgate is lowered.

Compatibility and practical considerations — these are full bed-length drawers that do not fully extend and are not compatible with in-bed towing packages (including 5th Wheel and Gooseneck). They work with spray-in bed liners, but not with drop-in plastic bed liners. BedRug mats can be used, but a BedRug full liner is not compatible. If your Ford has a tailgate assist handle mounted on the tailgate, it may interfere with the DECKED unit depending on the model year. You can remove the handle, and the tailgate step will not impact the installation or use of your DECKED system. LEARN MORE
