The toolbox was designed to carry a weight of 50 lbs, and we conducted drop testing to confirm resilience from typical carrying heights or from the open tailgate height of a pickup. While 50 lb is the recommended maximum for frequent use, the D-Box is built to handle heavier loads when carried with proper grip points and close to the chest, as demonstrated in our testing notes.
