The K&N 69-8010TTK Typhoon air intake system is an air induction system designed to fit specific Subaru Impreza models. The K&N Typhoon air intake replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. The tube dramatically reduces air flow restriction, smoothing and straightening the air flow. Air is delivered directly into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake, for more power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The included heat shield mounts into the original air box space and the tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. The only tools you'll need are a ratchet set, a couple of screwdrivers, and several wrenches.
